Newstart work with a large number of corporate clients in both the private and public sectors. Since 1992, we have completed 100s of assignments for businesses and organizations throughout Sweden.

Career Development

  • Built up internal career and competence (eg County Council of Stockholm, Vattenfall AB and Uppsala University)
  • Created web-based career programs for employees and managers (eg Norsk Hydro Data, various Telia companies)
  • Implemented internal mobility programs (eg Tax and Enforcement Administration, University of Uppsala, NLS, Waterfalls)
  • Designed self-study material in career planning for 200 redundant employees in a large organization.
  • Developed concept and self-study materials for internal employee development for over 1,000 people within the Telia Group.
  • Provided feedback on over 2000 CVs and personal presentation letters, interview training members (employees and managers) for a major academic association. 

Leadership Development

  • Trained over 1500 managers within Sweden’s defense sector in coaching, leadership and communication.
  • Successfully conducted tailor-made leadership development programs for 6 years with one of the largest leasing companies.
  • Developed strategies, tools and developmental management training, salary negotiation dialogue training for several companies.
  • Developed concept, target plan, management and employee guides for retention (retaining strategies) of talents.
  • Completed assignments in change management for Stockholm Water, SJ, Skandia, Newsec, Östergötland County Council in parallel with the training of a hundred HR specialists and managers from both the business community, public sector and municipalities.
  • Trained approximately 5,000 managers in coaching, leadership, feedback and performance reviews.
  • Coached thousands of managers and employees in a large number of Swedish and Norwegian companies.
  • Implemented a development program for female managers based at a large bank. Developed company policies and the basis for staff development appraisals for a company with 350 employees; trained both managers and employees in the concept.

Outplacement

  • Implemented outplacement of 30 people from the production staff to managers of a large international medtech company. More than half have switched careers or moved on to more skilled jobs within 4 months.
  • Carried out a large number of outplacement programs for individuals and groups.

Job Coaching

  • Coached more than 600 people within Sweden in the state employment service's mission of job coaching.
  • Selected as job coaching partner for Sollentuna Municipality jobseekers.
  • Managed large projects with several municipalities to create powerful and effective processes which result in a common approach and methodology for people furthest from the labor market. Management support, trained and certified all the staff of these units in Newstart methodology.
  • Inclusion in various projects for Nacka Municipality regarding enhanced career guidance for students from 7th grade - high school. Coached a number of students with materials specifically designed for young people in Newstart methodology.

Education/Training

  • Held many lectures about coaching, career planning and personal development in Sweden and internationally.
  • Trained over 2,000 career coaches in organizations around the country.
  • Trained 100 of counselors in most of the country's colleges and universities in career tools, and training students through lectures how to best promote themselves when looking for jobs.
  • Completed about 100 career training educations within the framework of Career Coach Academy and in cooperation with Vägledarkompetensen in Skåne
  • Trained small business owners in personnel work and communication on behalf of Öland Näringslivskontor
  • Completed several courses in Change Management training for different countries.
